Hangar 18 live at The Roadhouse
Sacramento, CA
March 19, 2004

A long roadtrip up to the state's capital -- the land of the Governator -- plagued by heavy traffic, misread maps, and lack of food, brought Hangar 18 to The Roadhouse, a roomy concert bar with great stage and sound. Joining Hangar 18 on the bill was the Bay Area's own tribute to Iron Maiden, Children of the Damned.

There wasn't much time for dinner, so between setting up and warming up, William "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum and Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros slipped to the ARCO station across the street for a nourshing meal of potato chips. Here, the two loiter outside the convenience store. Where are the cops when you need them...

After some quick munch-age, Hangar 18 hit the stage!

A quiet, introspective moment with drummer Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson.

The Roadhouse show marked guitarist Marty "Vic" Doty's first Bay Area performance. The shredmeister was very well-received by the nor-cali fans!

Mellefson and Vic hang and headbang together at the end of "Holy Wars".

The stage was very roomy, and featured professional sound and lighting. Thanks to Mike who single-handedly put this all together, from booking to sound!

Singing and shredding is not an easy task, but the ease with which Fro Mustaine executes this display of coordination somehow makes it look like a walk in the park.

Mellefson and the ultimate Megadeth/Transformers fan share in some headbanging fun.

Teeth grit, full fury, Dave Scott pounds away at hapless drums. This talented drummeister is now accepting drum students. For more info, e-mail him at dave@megadethtribute.com
