Hangar 18 live at TC's
Huntington Beach, CA
August 7, 2003
Our
buddies in Creeping Death, the Masters of Metallica, put together
a pre-show warm-up gig before their big Metallibash show in San
Francisco, and to do a live rehearsal with guitarist Lloyd Grant,
an early member of Metallica, who would be sitting in on a few
songs with the band at the bash. Hangar 18 and local rockers
Madlife joined the bill for a relaxed and quiet evening of fun
and metal.

The stage at TC's has a lowered area on stage right.
Unfortunately, this lowered area was right where Melanie "Mellefson"
Sisneros was supposed to stand. Her lowly position makes her look
tiny when juxtaposed next to William "Fro" Mustaine.
(Fro Watch fans, note how flat Fro's hair is; this
photo was taken during the first five minutes of the show...)

Guitarist Marty "Vic" Doty sings backing while Dave
Scott Chedrick Samuelson plays drums.

Speaking of Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson, the evening's
photos were a cornucopia of interesting poses. Here's goofy Dave...

And a quieter, gentler Dave. The night was rather special
for Mr. Dave Scott, because in the audience that night was his drum
master, Rob Carlson.
Am I Evil? Yes I AM....

And more Fro Mustaine, in your face!
Don't mess with Mr. Doty!
Mellefson shows her colors by proudly bearing a Creeping
Death t-shirt.
The masterminds of the evening, Bill and Jenny Warren.
Flyer Gallery: Hangar 18 was officially booked only
two days before the actual gig, so there was no flyer made for this
event.
Special thanks to Jeff Fahnestock for photography.
