Hangar 18 live at Rooster's Roadhouse
Alameda, CA
March 20, 2004

Back at Rooster's Roadhouse for a mega-birthday extravaganza! 10 rock and metal bands playing both originals and covers, an all-day affair with food and drink -- what a great party! Happy birthday, Eric!

The official ad for the event!

Hangar 18 stand outside Rooster's Roadhouse by the setlist. "Look," says Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros happily, "They spelled our name right!" Memories of the great big glowing "Hanger 18" on the Sunset Station marquee last July pass through the band's heads

Hangar 18 was once again joined on the bill by Children of the Damned, a killer tribute to Iron Maiden. Here guitarists hang and bond, Hangar 18's Marty "Vic" Doty and CotD's Bobby.

The band also met up with Bay Area Van Halen Tribute Hot for Teacher and snapped a horns-up shot by the Little Girl's Room(TM) with HFT's "Eddie", Terry Lauderdale.

Despite the awesome party atmosphere, hanging out wasn't the only thing H18 did at Rooster's Roadhouse! Hangar 18 put on a full 50 minutes of Megadeth's finest.

Well-rested and recovered from the long travel of the night before, Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson pauses a moment to smile.

A headbanging dual between William "Fro" Mustaine and Mellefson! This strange sort of competition originated in the Hangar 18 rehearsal studio and somehow found itself onto the stage. The objective: to whip the other with a barrage of flying hair!

Harmonizing leads.

Vic recently became a father a second time over with the birth of his new son Lucas. The metal family grows! Congratulations to the Dotys!

Tiny Mellefson was looking a little taller on stage, thanks to the "bass riser" on stage left.

Flyer Gallery: The Rooster's Roadhouse poster featured a new "Black Friday" design from the Megadeth/Chaos Comics Cryptic Writings series. The poster was assembled by Melanie Sisneros.
