Hangar 18 live at Paladino's
Tarzana, CA
May 14, 2004
Paladino's always feels like home, and what a nice home it is, with its roomy stage, great sound system, and of course, its killer audience! The bill included Empyre - Tribute to Queensryche and The Atomic Punks, reknowned tribute to early Van Halen.

The band not-so-seriously contemplates changing our name to "Hanger" 18 just so it will appear correctly on marquees!

The band came out with banging heads, shredding frets, and pounding drums in a set that included Megadeth favorites and a few surprises.

The band even debuted a new addition, "My Last Words" from the Peace Sells album.

Musicians Institute student by day, Fro Mustaine by night, guitarist William Rustrum is a man dedicated to his instrument.
Guitarist Marty "Vic" Doty, the busiest man in tribute metal, holds down a full time job, raises two small children, and still finds time to excel at the six string.
Bassista Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros hams it up for the camera and shows that fun is what performing is all about.
Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson sits between his two main bass drums.
Up front and center for some jam time! Hangar 18 close the night with Megadeth's cover of the Sex Pistol's classic "Anarchy in the UK." Prior to this show, "Anarchy..." was performed only one other time by this premier speed metal tribute.

Flyer Gallery: A very different flyer design by Melanie Sisneros pulls away from the traditional logo on top and features individual photos of each of the players, colored like a Simon game.
Special thanks to Carol Anderson for photographic mastery, audiophile Chris Trent, and Kirk Scherer for his hands and ears!
