Hangar 18 live at Paladino's
Tarzana, CA
September 27, 2003
Freshly
returned from Las Vegas, the folks of Hangar 18 then teamed up
with Los Angeles' finest metal tributes: Creeping Death
(the ultimate tribute to Metallica) and Empyre (tribute to Queensryche),
plus the patriotic hard rockers USA Rocks. Paladino's remains
one of the band's favorite clubs to play, thanks to the great
setup, great staff, and crazy valley Megadethhedz.

The Paladino's crowd is always out en force and ready
to bang heads! The 9/27 show not only had much bangin' up front,
but a moshpit out to the side. You rule!!

Hangar 18 ripped out one of the most brutal sets to
date. The set included lots of older Megadeth material, including
the headbanger favorite, "Rattlehead".

Guitarists William "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum and Marty
"Vic" Doty shred thru the blistering "Mechanix", a song which the
Creeping Death/Metalllica fans recognized at the Megadeth version
of "The Four Horsemen".

When he's not drumming, Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson
keeps his chops up by keeping fit! A daily morning run and and pumping
iron session helps keep Mr. Chedrick Samuelson in
top shape.
Although Hangar 18 has
played Paladino's a number of times, the 9/27 marked the first
time that
the show included guitarist Marty "Vic" Doty.
Guitarist William "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum has a lot
to smile about these days. He will begin studying at the prestigious
Musician's Institute in Hollywood in October.
Despite the technical difficulties, bassista Melanie
"Mellefson" Sisneros gave an energetic performance. The bass she
used, a late 80's USA BC Rich Mockingbird, was pictured along with
Miss Mellefson herself in the recent BC Rich catalog.
Dave says "cheese!" to our photographer, Carol Anderson.
Vic n Mellefson rock out.

his home of France during the show.
Special thanks to our killer road crew, Justin Bouchee,
Shivaji, and Carol Anderson.
