Hangar 18 live at Paladino's
Tarzana, CA
May 15, 2003
Paladino's
has easily earned its place as the ultimate haven for tribute
bands. With it's roomy stage, great lighting, and killer sound,
Paladino's provided Hangar 18 the perfect venue to kick some
ass. Joining the Hangars on the bill were Motley Priest, a tribute
to 80's metal, Black Out (tribute to the Scorpions) and Monkey
Business, a tribute to Skid Row.

The show heralded the return of lead fretshredder,
Michael "Mikey Friedman" Johnson, who had been out for three months
on leave. Back in the saddle, the audience couldn't tell that he
had ever been away from the guitar.

While Hangar 18 has yet to sneak in a song from their
former band Raven Mad (sorry, Paul, but stay tuned!), Melanie "Mellefson"
Sisneros and William "Fro" Rustrum assume a stance Raven Mad fans
would be familiar with, back to back.

An alien green light glows over Hangar 18's drummer
Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson.

Mellefson pauses a moment to give photographer Carol
Anderson a big toothy grin and a pair of horns. Thanks to Carol for
taking these outstanding photographs!
Hangar 18 debuted a new song at Paladino's, an oldie
but ever-classic - "Rattlehead". New tunes are being added all the
time, so let us know what you want to hear!
