Hangar 18 live at Paladino's
Tarzana, CA
February 15, 2003
Hangar
18 returned to Paladino's and a packed house. The bill featured
titanic metal tributes, Creeping Death, the ultimate tribute
to Metallica, and the world-famous Iron Maidens.

Hangar
18
delivered a 45 minute set filled with headbanging fan favorites at the newly
remodeled Paladino's. Paladino's remains the premiere nightclub in the San Fernando
Valley for metal tribute shows.

Mikey Friedman played his final show before embarking
on a multi-month hiatus. The set debuted "Tornado of Souls" and a
guitar solo over
a minute and a half long, which Mike executed with skill and grace.

The set also featured the debut of "Dawn Patrol", an eerie bass-and-drums
tune that opened the show and lead into the assaultive "Hangar 18".
Despite technical difficulties, Mellefson delivered a barrage of
bass and flying hair.

Fro Mustaine debuted... his 80's styled jeans! After
large quantities of butter, WD40, and Crisco, Fro was able to paint
these babies on. As for taking them off... so far as we all know,
he may still be wearing them...

The thunderous Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson.

The crowd, which was out en force, banged heads, shredded
on air guitars, and pitched horns. The Megadeth legions are still
faithful and strong.

Flyer Gallery #2: This was the flyer distributed to
promote the Paladino's show, designed by Gordon Madison and modified
by Melanie Sisneros.
Special thanks to our crew, without whom the show would not have
been possible: Anna Yost, Dave Watson, Ron Vander Dussen, and John
Leighton.
