Hangar 18 live at Kozmos
Huntington Beach, CA
April 18, 2003
What
a fantastic packed night at Kozmos! Hangar 18 played to a rabid
crowd of mega-metal fans, alongside the world famous tribute
to Iron Maiden, The Iron Maidens, and Metalblade recording artists,
The Fallen.

Here's a glimpse at the
crowd, all packed into the hallowed halls of Kozmos.

There was a whole lotta headbanging going on, as Hangar
18 tore thru Megadeth classics ranging from "The Mechanix" to "Tornado
of Souls".

William "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum shared a newsclipping
he came across regarding penis-numbing condoms. We're all *still*
trying
to figure
out the relevance...

Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson shows off his Raven Mad
t-shirt. Three of the five members of Hangar 18 were once in an original
band called Raven Mad-- beware, lest a Raven Mad tune slip into
the set...

The show featured enhancements to the new lightshow, including a
glowing green skull in the palm of Hangar 18's life-size standup
Vic Rattlehead.
Bassista Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros
The Kozmos show featured lead guitarist Marty "Vic"
Doty.

Guitarist Michael "Mikey Friedman" Johnson was on board,
looking very well after his month-long hiatus. Look for Mikey Friedman's
Welcome Back gig at Paladino's on May 16, 2003!

Flyer Gallery: The Kozmos flyer featured a new design,
assembled by Hangar 18's Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros and featuring
photography by Carol Anderson.
Special thanks to our crew, without whom the show would not have
been possible: Anna Yost, Dave Watson, Ron Vander Dussen, Carol
Anderson (photography), and Denis "The Moshking" Recendez (video).
Also thanks to Chris "Drumslut" Silva for lending a hand!
