Hangar 18 live at Kozmos
Huntington Beach
February 8, 2003

Kozmos in Huntington Beach is quickly becoming the hotspot for live music in Orange County, with tribute shows every weekend and Klub Inferno (live and DJ metal on Thursday nights, presented by Jenny "Bruce Chickinson Warren of The Iron Maidens). And so, it was not surprising when a bill featuring three titanic metal tributes -- Hangar 18, Mr. Crowley, and Creeping Death -- came to town, that the club would be filled with a GREAT headbangin' crowd.

The set featured tunes ranging from Killing is My Business... to Countdown to Extinction, or as Fro Mustaine puts it, "the drug-induced Megadeth".

Mellefson, Mikey Friedman, and Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson execute "In My Darkest Hour" with finesse.

Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson UNLEASHED!!!!!

Though shredding thru the rather complex guitarwork of Marty Friedman, Mike always seems to have a look of relaxed composure on his face.

Red, red everwhere! Mellefson played her third show with Hangar 18 surrounded by lots of her favorite color.

The final flyer for the show; the flyer was actually revised three times as the bill changed.

Special thanks to our crew, without whom the show would not have been possible: Anna Yost, Dave Watson, Big Ron, and Carol Anderson.
