Hangar 18 live at the e-Club
Miramar, CA
July 9, 2004

Marines need metal too, and Hangar 18 was most happy to oblige! Set in the Enlisted Club at the Marinee Corp base in Miramar, CA, which was appropriately themed "Area 51", Hangar 18 played a long set of Megadeth classics and fan favorites.

No matter how hard we hope and wish and pray, it seems like our name is destined to be spelled incorrectly, even at a military base filled with hangArs. Regardless, we loved the fact that we were playing at a club called "Area 51".

Guitarmiesters Wlliam "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum and Marty "Vic" Doty relax and work over last minute details before the show with a cool and rather large glass o' brewski.

And then on with the show! Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson shows his funny face as he pounds away beneath the Hangar 18 banner.

More funny faces, this time courtesy of the large-haired Fro Mustaine!

Teeth, anyone? Although the base had recently been deployed to Iraq, the remaining marines banged their heads to the brutal shredding of lead guitarist Vic.

After the show, bassista Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros received some dance lessons from some of the marines.

Our host with the most!

Special thanks to Mike, Fro Mom and Dad, and all those serving tirelessly under the banner of red white and blue!
