Hangar 18 live at The Crossroads
Yucaipa, CA
July 26, 2003
Hangar
18 returned to one of the Inland Empire's finest venues, The
Crossroads in Yucaipa. The Crossroads has a huge open-air stage
and a quaint biker bar area, located at the first exit past civilization.
Joining us on the bill were our friends Prophecy, a killer tribute
to Queensryche, Monkey Business (tribute to Skid Row), and the
fabulous Led Zepagain (tribute to Led Zeppelin).

The stage at the Crossroads is so huge, that the HUGE
banner that spread across it dwarfed our little H18 banner. Nevertheless,
there was plenty of room to run around, plus extra space still for
Fro Mustaine's hair to expand.

The show was wrought with onstage mishap. Guitarist
Marty "Vic" Doty had technical difficulties such that he was not
able to switch to a lead channel, while Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros
broke a string on her bass within the first 20 seconds of the first
song.
Despite
the technical problems, the show over all played out well.

OH!!! Another classic Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson
"drum face".

Whole lotta shreddin' going on. There were no new additions
to the setlist, but guitarist Marty "Vic" Doty performed "Reckoning
Day" for the first time on that warm summer night.
Jackson boys.

Dan Lilker? Howard Stern? No! That's none-other than
our tight-jeaned Fro Mustaine!

Flyer Gallery: The flyer for the Crossroads is the
first to feature the band in the Marty "Vic" Doty configuration.
It features the cover artwork of Youthanasia .
Special thanks to our crew, Anna Yost and Ron Vander Dussen. Also
thanks to Nick Laux of Prophecy for assistance with video.
