Hangar 18 live at Angels Sports Bar
Corona, CA
June 28, 2003
Hangar
18 made its second trek into the Inland Empire as A Very Sabbath
Weekend continued. This time, H18 played with the all-female
tribute to Black Sabbath, Mistress of Reality, as well as Alice
Unchained, an excellent tribute to Alice in Chains.

The close quarters of the Angels Sports Bar and Gentlemen's
Club allowed for lots of band interraction. Here are brothers in
arms, William "Fro Mustaine" Rustrum and Michael "Mikey Friedman"
Johnson.

The H18 rhythm section shows some attitude! Mega-Metal
scowls provided by bassist Melanie "Mellefson" Sisneros and drummer
Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson.

Fro Mustaine displays a very Dave Mustaine-esque facial
expression.
And here's Dave Scott Chedrick
Samuelson's "oh face" (see Office Space, one of
Dave's favorite movies, for
the reference).
Mikey Friedman with his good friend, Vic Rattlehead.
Mellefson weilds her 5-string bass with ease despite
matters of size.

Hangar 18 is nothing without our fearless crew; here
is a rare glimpse of guitar tech/stagehand Ron Vander Dussen. Ron,
an avid motorcyclist, hopes that Hangar 18 will add "Motopsycho" to
the setlist some day.

Hangar 18 concluded A Very Sabbath Weekend with a cover of Megadeth's
cover of "Paranoid". For the jam, H18 invited a few friends
on stage: Jeff Fahnestock, singer for the killer Black Sabbath tribute
Sabotage, on
vocals and Anna Yost, Hangar 18's drum tech/lighting tech, on drums.
Dave Scott Chedrick Samuelson provided a killer tambourine solo.

The jam also called out Hangar 18's other guitar player,
Marty "Vic" Doty to the stage.
Flyer Gallery: The Angels Sports Bar flyer featured
the State of the Art Speed Metal Band artwork. The flyer was designed
by Melanie Sisneros and features photography by Carol Anderson.
Special thanks to our fellow band mate and our crew, without whom
the show would not have been possible: Marty "Vic" Doty,
Anna Yost, Ron
Vander
Dussen, and Jeff Fahnestock
